chair porn @lithonia

I was cruising around south DeKalb County for my day job, when I noticed a discarded chair behind one of the buildings in downtown Lithonia. I went back in the evening to take a picture, because everyone loves chair porn.

As I was photographing the white chair porn in Lithonia, an old guy and an even older woman walked up. The old guy introduced himself as Kenny and we chatted for a bit. He is a retired set photographer and gave me the excellent idea of looking up at the facades of the historic buildings in the downtown.

After chilling with Kenny, I noticed this goldenrod chair porn in Lithonia and proceeded to take a few pictures. As the natural light did not suit me, I slipped an SB-800 into the hotshoe of my D70 and took a few more shots.

butler @oakland cemetery

This photograph of the Butler monument is the first in a series of five early morning shots in Oakland Cemetery. I took this in the middle of July and at 7:30 in the morning, it was already hot as balls.

These were taken with a Fujica STX-1 generously donated by my friend Ted. I also used a Fujinon 28mm f/2.8 lens found on Ebay. The camera was loaded with Ilford Delta 400 and a #25 filter was attached to darken the sky.

how this works

Photographs are now posted on Aspherical, which is graciously hosted by Foursevenfour Media.

This site may, or may not, feature commentary on the photographs - I'm not sure what to do with it yet. Feel free to comment with suggestions.
